XPrint Passport Printer
The IXLA XPrint improves the standard features of the XP series by incorporating inkjet printing on both paper and polycarbonate using a highly advanced and exclusive inkjet printer based on drop-on-demand (DoD) technology. This printing method accurately releases individual ink droplets onto a surface only when required, resulting in high-quality, effective and durable printing on any surface.
XPrint enables decentralized e-Passport personalization and boasts outstanding reliability. It can also be installed in clusters to create scalable centralized solutions.
The XPrint system is the ultimate solution for laser engraving with its exceptional capabilities. It can perform tilted engraving, clear windows, tactile, microtext, and high yield chip encoding with ease. Its high-resolution vision system ensures precise graphic positioning and quality control, while the tray-based transport system can handle up to 30 passports with the option to add more during processing, keeping passport covers and data pages scratch-free throughout the entire process. Options include a choice of encoding engines, like VHBR, and dedicated antenna positioning.
